Our company provides insurance benefits to its employees, such as, life insurance, personal accident insurance, medical and hospitalization insurance. The medical and hospitalization insurance extends to the employees legal dependents – spouses, children, and parents.
For out-patient consultation or confinement, we would just present our medical cards and the insurance would take care of every covered expenses. More often than not, all the medical expenses were covered.
When my eldest kid reached the age limit of 21, he became ineligible for the medical and hospitalization benefits. I had planned of taking a medical insurance for him. Unfortunately, before I procured one, he got sick and needed to be hospitalized. Since he had no insurance yet, I would personally pay for his medical expenses at $500.
Fortunately, my application for a
cash advance was approved. And, I was able to pay for his medical and hospitalization expenses.
