Have you received files with File Extension ODS?  They may have been sent to you by your friends or office mates. Maybe, you have downloaded them from the internet not knowing that they are File Extension ODS. Perhaps, this is your first time to encounter an .ods files and unsure what to do with them. File Extension ODS can be opened with OpenOffice and Star Office.  The former is open source program software for word processing and spreadsheet.  It can be downloaded for free for home use, educational purposes or businesses. The latter is a similar program but it’s not free. The cost however is affordable. Another option is by downloading and installing an open source converter.  This will allow Microsoft Excel to run the File Extension ODS.
