My car’s a black 2008 Kia Carens LX CRDi.  I named her “Karenpot”.

She’s already a year and five months old and has already logged more than 25,000 kilometers.  Any vehicle to be in tiptop shape must be subjected to PMS or Periodic Maintenance Service. I’m having my PMS every 5,000 kms.  I don’t follow the rule “every 5,000 kms. or three month, whichever comes first”.

During the warranty period of 3 years or 60,000 kms., the PMS must be performed by the manufacturer’s accredited service center to comply with the warranty conditions.

For my 25,000 kms. PMS, I had it done by Kia Pasig. And, I spent more than P3,000 for the service.
